Hi Friends, This week I want to present to you something quite different! You have all heard that journaling is good. Writing it all out is almost like putting down a burden or a puzzle and letting it go. Sometimes things start making sense when you begin to write and sometimes it's just a good habit to keep your mind and soul "clean" and "updated." I have been writing to my deceased brother every morning. I greet him and tell him things that I would have told him in our phone calls. Journaling can take many forms. Pick one. These following prompts are NOT to be used all at once. Take one and start writing. Even better, send me your journal prompts that you love.
Journal prompts:
Who are you? Who are you without your job, family, church?
Can you accept you for who you are?
What are your dreams? How would you feel if they came true? Make a list.
Have you forgiven yourself? Others?
What makes you worthy?
What are your expectations and "shoulds" in life?
What fills you up? If you don’t know, try something new every week. Schedule it without feeling guilty.
What do you love now? What did you love as a child?
What are you good at?
What have you accomplished? Make a list.
What do you like to do?
How do you talk to yourself?
Life is not dictated by external circumstances, but by who you are.
You can start new, today, and start writing the first chapter of your new story. You can’t really love someone unless you love yourself first. You were created perfectly to be who you are.
P.S. Message me for a free consult to start moving towards a more confident you.
You are loved. Deeply loved. Loved beyond measure.
Until next time, Isabelle
