Tuesday Thoughts And Each Day Has Trouble Of Its Own

Hi Friends, Now, how in the world can I incorporate Disney and the Bible verse from the headline? This is a behind the scenes look into my brain. Last week I wrote about unnecessary suffering. So my brain says, “You have to follow that up with a post on real suffering.” So I will, because life is going to bring you suffering, no matter what. This is the suffering you don't sign up for. As in sickness, or death, or accidents or natural disasters or job loss or difficult family members. Suffering is a given, that's why I want you to be aware of unnecessary suffering I wrote about last week. The Bible verse goes as follows:

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34

That's life wisdom if you ask me.

Worrying really doesn't add any value to our lives. I'm not saying be like Timon and Pumbaa and live carelessly into each day without doing your part of planning and being responsible.

What I am saying is, can we just be in the moment and allow the suffering that life has thrown at us, without dragging it out into tomorrow?

When you're sad, feel sadness.

When you're angry, feel anger.

When you're depressed, feel depression.

When you're exhausted, feel exhaustion.

When you're disillusioned, feel disillusionment.

When you're afraid, feel fear.

When you're rejected, feel rejection.

When you're lonely, feel loneliness.

And the list goes on.

You've heard the phrase: Feel it to heal it. Right?

Can you allow yourself to feel all the above emotions at the time they arrive?

You know, they don't go away magically.

So knowing that each day has trouble of its own, can allow us to be fully present today, fully feel all the feels today. Cause tomorrow has its own agenda.

And you know what? Suffering is on that agenda.

That's just life.

C'est la vie, say the French.

Hakuna Matata say the Swahili people in East Africa.

Asi es la vida, in Spanish.

So ist's im Leben, say the German.

And just like that I have a new idea for my next newsletter.

I welcome all comments and questions. Thank you for those who reach out and tell me how these blogs impact you.

It fills my cup,

Imagine a life where you allow suffering each day.
