Tuesday Thoughts And Storms
Hi Friends, What did you implement last week? Did you let go of something? If you didn't, then this topic might help you let go voluntarily ;). We are in summer season here in SW Florida which means it’s our stormy/rainy season. The above picture was taken at the beach a few days ago. When you see these black clouds coming, you know, it's time to pack up and go. You know me by now, and won't be surprised that I'm writing about benefits of storms. Here is an interesting fact about mother nature's storms: Thunderstorms help keep the earth in electrical balance. The earth's surface and the atmosphere conduct electricity easily. The earth is charged negatively and the atmosphere, positively. There is always a steady current of electrons flowing upwards from the entire surface of the earth. Balance! After a storm we say: "It cleared the air!" Don't we? Sometimes the clients I coach have real loud verbal fights/storms in their lives. Sometimes their storms are internal and silent. Both drain you. Both burden you and both can have physiological manifestations over time. We need to be the ones to clear ALL that negativity that is building in us. I hope we are able to do so before the literal storm. We can learn that, you know? I am sure you have witnessed these negative and positive charged feelings in us humans that can cause outbursts. Clear the negative ones BEFORE they erupt. And if you are the recipient of a negatively charged person, don't take that energy in. Protect yourself. Walk away. Respect yourself by not taking part in these outbursts. Somehow I always come back to processing feelings. It's one of the best tools I learned in my coach training. WHY? Because once they are processed they are not collecting force, like those storm clouds above, and they are not hovering over you to drench you in a downpour of negativity. Sometimes these downpours happen internally. That's dangerous as well. Please go back to last week’s writings and decide what you need to let go of, because if you don't do it voluntarily, the storm might force you to. Or as Oprah says, "Life always whispers to you first, and if you don't listen to the whisper, sooner or later you will get a scream."
Not all storms come to disrupt your life; some come to clear your path.
Ah, a clear path. We want that. More than the dark clouds and heavy rains. Clarity is of such importance. I’d like to help you get there. It's the best feeling. Do you need help avoiding the emotional storms in your life? Do you need help knowing what to do if you are faced with one? Message me for a free discovery call, where you can tell me more. To be prepared for these storms is essential. You need to be equipped BEFORE they happen. Just like I always have an umbrella in my car, I need to have my tools to be ready to withstand life's storms. And like palm trees have strong roots… they bend with the wind, let the storm pass and continue to stand strong!!
PS: Message me for a free consult to start moving toward a more confident you.
You are loved. Deeply loved. Loved beyond measure.
Until next time, Isabelle
