Hi friend,
I've had different coaches in my life. And with the good ones, I was able to make transformations.
A good coach gives me permission to believe things that sometimes I have a hard time giving myself permission to believe.
Thoughts like, "Everything is right on track," or "You're doing a great job."
A good coach will tell me the truth even when it's hard to hear.
Sometimes it sounds like, "You are capable of more." or "You are the only one who can make this happen".
A good coach has knowledge about things that I'm still learning and is invested in teaching me what I need to know.
For example I've worked with a coach who helped heal childhood wounds, I've worked with a life coach, and a business coach.
A good coach is as invested in my progress as I am, which makes it a lot more fun and less lonely along the journey.
And most of all, when I invest in coaching with my time, my money, my energy, I tell myself that not only do I matter, but I matter enough to invest in me.
I am also blessed to have a friend who is a certified coach and we help each other.
