Sunday Step Up And A Year In Review

Hi friends, how are you?

We are a few days into the new year, the new decade!! What does it feel like? Like another day? Overwhelming? Exciting? Frightening? I just want you to know, that any feeling you are experiencing is OK. You don't need to feel any certain way. I love all of you. Just the way you are. I do like to look back over the year and think of the highlights and low lights. I usually do this by myself when I'm putting all the new dates in my new calendar. I really want to do thus with all my children and just ask them what their highlights and low lights were. I encourage you to celebrate the highlights and accept and learn from the low lights. Failures are to fall forward as Zig Ziglar says. We can't get to success without failure. In my family we had engagements, weddings, a break up, excellent grades, not so good grades, stress, relaxation, scary moments, joyful moments, tension and relief of tension, milestone birthdays, a funeral and a visit from abroad. See the picture above, that's my brother who came to visit from Germany. Follow me on FB to get all the updates and family pictures :) Please do the following exercise with an open heart and start the new decade with a clean slate.

What goals did you reach?

What dreams came true?

What lessons did you learn?

What are you most grateful for in 2019?

I give thanks right now for 2019 and all it has taught me. I will forgive myself for any hurt or pain I may have caused. I forgive others for any hurt or pain they caused me. Because I am made in the image of God, I can love like God. I choose to do so now. I love myself. I love others. And right now, I let go of this past year. I take the lessons. I hold the memories. I receive the love, but I let this year go. It owes me nothing and I am immensely grateful for it. I am ready now to move on into 2020, and am dedicated to creating the abundant life God designed me to live.
