Hi friends,
how are you?
In a few minutes I need to run to the store to get ingredients for a Birthday cake.
She is really the better baker, but I will try my best.
I heard this analogy that I want to share with you.
We have been given everything we need to create a successful life. Whatever success means to you. Just like I will have all the ingredients to make a cake. But I still have get to work and measure and mix and bake and decorate.
Often I hear: "God help me with this." 'God I need a miracle." "God, deliver me."
But didn't he say : "It is finished?" and "I have given you life to the fullest?" and "to know his love that surpasses knowledge-that we may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." ?
He has established everything we need. All ingredients for a successful life are there. You just need to get to work and make it true.
Don't sit back and wait for it to happen.God isn't going to drop it on your lap. We have a choice and a free will. To get into the kitchen and make that cake!!
Your circumstances don't dictate how you feel and how successful you are. Not even your brain dictates to you. Rather the opposite. We dictate to our brain. And our brain listens. Our brain listens to everything we tell it. Good and bad.
I am stuck. I can't do this. It's my sisters fault. She is so lucky. So and so is more talented. Easy for her to say. She's got better genes. She grew up in a better home. Things come easy to her. And so on.
It's not just about knowing the truth and knowing that we can renew our minds. It's about implementation.
