Sunday Step Up and Checking In
Hi friends, how are you?
I want to stay with the theme of connection and rituals.
It's like a good morning routine ( hope you have one), where you set aside time to read, hydrate and exercise. If the frame work is there then the individual parts, like the exercise or reading, can differ to offer variety. But you know its happening every morning.
The same goes for rituals of connection. When you set aside a time of day to connect with your spouse or child you set up a framework. You know that it is happening and the individual parts can differ. Like what you talk about. If you sit or walk or eat together.
With my teens and young adult children I have to be very flexible and "catch" them when I can. Like tonight. I asked one teen if she would like to eat with me. She said she needed to take a quiz for school. So she came down later and we sat and talked a little. I had told her how much I missed that and that I just wanted to be kept in the loop as to what is happening in her life. It's not as simple and "scheduled" as it used to be. But I am committed to connection.
Here are some questions if you are out of the habit of connecting on a daily basis. You're a bit rusty or just don't know what to talk about. That's OK. We'll take it from there. I have helped many couples reconnect. And also mother and daughters.
Please message me if you want to renew your relationship. It's a free consult. Nothing to loose.
How was your day?
What made you feel loved?
Talk about important things on the schedule
What are you looking forward to?
Anything funny or weird happen today?
Don't judge yourself for where you are. Just go from there. I'd love to be your guide. And if you're local, please come to my vision board workshops. You can make one for your relationship and how you envision it to be!!!
PS: Message me for a free consult to start renewing your relationship.
You are loved. Deeply loved. Loved beyond measure.
Until next time, Isabelle
