Tuesday thoughts and intention
What did you implement last week?
I want to continue on the topic of intention.
It is something that doesn't come naturally to me. I am learning it and I am using a daily reminder to get better at it.
My daily reminder for the intention I want to share with you today is written on a sticky note with a coffee stain on it.
Have any of those?
What’s written on it you might ask?
I am expecting good things to happen to me today.
You can call that a prayer, an affirmation, or a declaration.
It’s simply a thought that I choose to believe.
Because there are a million other thoughts swirling around in my head that are not even close to positive.
I just want to balance those out. You know?
Like, I think this thought deserves some room up there in my brain.
You know that I try to have a picture that goes with my message. What does a kitten have to do with this?
(BTW, we adopted a sister and a brother from this lovely kitten.)
I want you to learn with me to accept good things. Yes. Some of us need to learn this.
We give and we serve, and we deflect praise and gifts, right?
Does a kitten ever say, "I wonder if I was kitten enough today to deserve a treat."
"I did something wrong, I shouldn't be accepting this."
"I don't think I'm lovable today."
"I got one yesterday, that's enough."
A kitten GLADLY and UNAPOLOGETICALLY accepts the treat.
I bet you are human enough, good enough, and lovable enough to accept good things in your day.
Set this intention and see what happens and then report back to me.
