Hi friends, how are you? September is around the corner. Fall goes with new school years ; new college semesters. Kids are starting school after what feels like the longest summer ever. But even if you are not a parent, or your children are adults, I want you to consider the importance of a morning routine. We call it a routine when you do it without having to think about it. Like brushing your teeth. Like making a cup of coffee. How does it become a routine? By doing it over and over and over again. The following is a list of ideas that you can implement.
set your alarm ( did you know you can set it to your favorite song?)
stretch and exercise
read for 20 minutes ( something encouraging and uplifting)
listen to an educational or inspiring message (podcasts, you tube..)
sit quietly and meditate for a few minutes
say your affirmations
write your goals
These are simple but not easy to implement.
I encourage you to start with one, do it for a week, and then add another.
When you set your alarm ( early enough so you have time for exercising and mediating and all) and you do get up, you have won the first decision.
And that gives you momentum.
It also tells your brain that you are capable of doing this.
Do that consistently for a week.
And then add another item to routine.
See what you like best and keep at it.
PS: Message me for a free consult to start overcoming mental blocks that keep you from doing what you desire to do.
You are loved. Deeply loved. Loved beyond measure.
Until next time,
